Opening your home to complete strangers isn't something we do everyday so the Homestay team is here to make it easy for you.
Large house, small house, apartment, or country cottage? That’s fine. Got a single spare room to let or thinking about renting out your whole property? That’s fine too.
We give you all the guidance and the tools to do it. You're in total control. People, prices, room availability and those all-important house rules.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a bike lover or someone who wants to escape the races and head off on holiday, you’re welcome to register for Homestay.
Please Note: Under the Tourist Act 1975, Homestay registration is a legal requirement for any private households taking in paying visitors during the Isle of Man TT and/or MGP and Classic TT.
Whatever type of Homestay you want to offer race fans, there’s just a few simple steps to becoming a Homestay Host. Take a look at the Homestay Host Information Pack this will give you all the info about becoming a host.
On receipt of your form, we will arrange a mutually convenient date/time for an inspection visit. Please read the Host Information Pack. We understand this is your home and take a pragmatic approach. Most inspections take around 30 minutes.
Once approved, your property will be shown on the official Homestay website (unless you tell us not to). We can promote the property via social media but you are free to also advertise your property elsewhere, but you should clearly state on any advertisements that the property is Homestay registered.
